Terms and Conditions for Paradigm Academics
1. Introduction and Definitions
These terms and conditions govern your use of Paradigm Academics website, services, and courses (both in-person and online). Throughout this document, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Paradigm Academics. By accessing our site, enrolling in our courses, or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Enrollment, Fees, and Payment
2.1 Course fees must be paid in full at least 28 days prior to the commencement date of in-person courses.
2.2 50% of fees are required upon booking, with the balance due no less than 28 days before the commencement date.
2.3 Registration fees are non-refundable but may be credited towards a future course, depending on circumstances.
2.4 No refunds will be issued for non-attendance or incomplete course participation.
2.5 All fees include VAT at the current rate. Overseas/UK bank charges will be added to the final balance payable.
2.6 We reserve the right to refuse any order or limit quantities purchased per person, household, or order.
3. Course Attendance and Completion
3.1 Students must complete all practical training within 6 months of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.2 In-person courses typically run from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but hours may be subject to change at the discretion of the Director.
3.3 Late arrivals may be refused entry.
3.4 Minimum age for in-person courses is 16 years old on the day of training.
4. Online Courses and Digital Content
4.1 Access to online courses is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
4.2 Online courses are non-refundable once any course material has been viewed or accessed.
4.3 "Lifetime access" refers to the lifetime of Paradigm Academics as a business. Should the business cease operations or discontinue specific courses, access to course materials may no longer be available.
4.4 We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue online courses or services without prior notice.
4.5 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and login details.
4.6 You may not share access to your purchased courses with others or distribute course materials in any form.
5. Student Responsibilities
5.1 Students must bring their own tools for in-person courses (scissors, combs, brushes, and section clips).
5.2 Professional dress code is required for in-person courses.
5.3 Students are expected to treat all staff and fellow students with respect and maintain a professional attitude.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 All course materials, content, videos, documents, and resources are the property of Paradigm Academics and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without written permission.
6.2 The academy's name and branding may not be used in any form of advertising without explicit written consent.
7. Liability and Warranties
7.1 Paradigm Academics is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
7.2 We do not warrant that the quality of courses, services, or information will meet your expectations or that errors will be corrected.
8. Changes to Terms
8.1 We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
